Vega Zaragoza, once an up-and-coming model, now spends her days behind the lens of a video camera covering small-town art fairs and local ghost tours.  Downplaying her appearance allows her to hide from her involvement in a famous political scandal, but she discovers that a half-lived life isn’t enough. When a job opens at an Atlanta affiliate, she decides to take a risk. But there’s one catch: she can only have the job if she lands an interview with JP Davenport, America’s golden boy and rumored frontrunner for an appointment to Atlanta’s empty congressional seat.

Elusive JP Davenport courts the press in public but refuses to let them into his private life. He might appear to be the upstanding citizen his family expects, but that doesn’t mean he isn’t holding onto a secret or two of his own.  Yet from the moment he meets Vega, he wants to add her to his string of gorgeous women. He’s so tempted, he breaks his own rules to get her. What he can’t figure out is how he’s going to keep her.

Despite her resistance, paparazzo’s insistence, and the ultimate revelation of both Vega and JP’s secrets, the pair discovers that a full life is not gained without risk and trust.  One must have total confidence in what they go after, and leave it up to others to make themselves happy.

Second Chance for a Family

Publication Date coming soon…

First book in Sugar Springs, Tennessee series.

Since the day her sister died in her arms, Lee Ann London has been raising her twin nieces without letting the dishonesty of their conception get in the way. Her older, beautiful sister had seduced Lee Ann’s high school boyfriend, turning her world upside down in more ways than one. But now, with the girls on the verge of turning thirteen and everything in Lee Ann’s life running perfectly, the ex arrives back in town.

Cody Dalton has lived with the shame all these years of what he did to Lee Ann. When the professional opportunity arises to temporarily move back to Sugar Springs, the only place he’d ever felt he might belong, he accepts with the hope of seeing Lee Ann and finally giving her the apology she deserved. What he doesn’t expect to find is that he had fathered twins before disappearing. He can’t just walk away, but knows he’s not made to stick in any one place too long. Staying may hurt the girls more than help.

Cody and Lee Ann devise a plan to introduce him into the girls’ lives, knowing when he leaves he’ll see them on weekends only. But when their past feelings quickly bubble to the surface, they discover something neither expected. Life has offered them both a second chance. Do either have the guts to accept?
